LYMELIFE: Film Screening Followed by Q&A BOOKMAKING WORKSHOP RETREATS & PROGRAMS 2010 Half-Way Thru Winter Pot Luck
We made it halfway to Spring..... Let's have a Potluck Party! On Tuesday, Feb 2, it's traditional to celebrate the day halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. So whether you call on the Celtic goddess turned St. Bridget, or follow the shadows of the Groundhog, you're invited to gather at the Phoenix at the Grail for the good food and company that will ease the winter cold and remind us that Spring is right around the corner. Expect a few fireside chats about the many meanings--from a variety of cultures and traditions--often ascribed to this day. You, your family and friends are invited! Come at 6:30 (or anytime after). Bring a dish to share. Plan on a wonderful evening. See you there! RSVP's are encouraged. To RSVP or for more information contact:
Sharon.
So What EXACTLY Is The Grail???
That's the question so many of our friends and neighbors often ask us. So we've decided to set aside a few hours to talk with those who would like to know more about
The Grail (an international women's organization founded in 1921), and the Cornwall Grail Center (operating here since 1963). Through lively conversation and activities, we'll fill
you in on our history, vision, values, mission, and plans for the future. We'll talk about the many facets of our diverse community. And, of course, answer ALL of your
questions...or at least MOST of them (to the best of our ability). Expected participants include Grail members, friends (old & new), Cornwall locals,
and international guests. All are welcome. To RSVP or for more information contact:
Sharon.

Click here Newburgh Ministry Project Grail volunteers collect and deliver children and adult coats, socks, clothes, snow boots, rain boots, shoes, blankets, sheets and toiletries (which are dispensed to the homeless in travel sizes). They bring books, toys and other goods the Ministry staff says they are short on. Currently collaborating with the Cornwall Hospital Boutique in donating and transporting their excess items to the Newburgh Ministry. Grail volunteers have also distributed Thanksgiving turkeys (donated by Adams Fairacre Farms) to families in need for the past 2 years. To participate in this project contact:

Forest Revitalization Project In consultation with Black Rock Forest and other local environmental agencies, the Grail is actively engaged in trying to save up to twenty acres of our forest property.
Threatened by deer over-population, invasive vines, and invasive tree species, our woods are in danger of disappearing unless strong protective measures are quickly taken.
We are presently:
