Welcome to the Grail Center at Cornwall-on-Hudson.
We offer retreats and educational/skill-building workshops mostly for women, and make our facility available for rental to mixed-gender groups who desire a lovely, secluded, yet centrally located setting. Our beautiful, Victorian-era estate home on forty-five acres is the perfect setting, whatever the season, for groups of up to 23 persons who seek a retreat or team-building experience. Though the atmosphere is peaceful and secluded, there are many attractions to enjoy nearby --including charming small river towns, Hudson River cruises, historic sites, mountain hiking, outlet shopping, excellent restaurants, and prestigious art centers.
What is the Grail Center? We are a non-profit retreat center and non-governmental organization that, since 1963, has offered support, training, and retreats for women who work for social justice, environmental sustainability, and community development. Part of an international, intercultural, ecumenical movement called the Grail, we are women inspired by our Faith to transform the world into a place of peace and justice. Our work includes practical training, skill-building, strategizing, and networking, as well as the offering of retreats where women can recharge and reconnect with the Spirit and each other.
Please tour our site to find out more about the Grail movement, our facility, and the work we do. Contact us for information about group rentals, Grail programs and retreats, becoming involved with the Grail, making tax-deductible contributions, or volunteering.
